I just purchased a G4 667 powermac with 768 megs of ram and 80 gig HD
it has a fresh install of 10.0.3 on it. Should I upgrade to Panther or leave it? I will be doing mainly photo editing and gaming. Thanks

One word : YES.
10.0 is a snail. 10.1 was a much faster. 10.2 was even more faster. 10.3 is even more more more faster.
Your G4 will feel like a G5 when running 10.3 compared to 10.0.
In addition to performance, a lot of softwares now REQUIRE at least 10.2 to run.

100%, update. No man in 2004 should suffer the pain of 10.0.3
