I googled "install another processor in G5".

Seems to just screw in right next to the other Processor. If I get the same one ... can I just screw it in? or something else?

Is it possible?

PowerMac 1.8 (The First One) w/ a 900 Mhz Front Bus.

Since no one else has responded. No, you would need to replace(at least) the logic board as well. There is no free slot for an additional processor on your board.

agreed. on the older power macs that were the single processor base models there is a socket for one G5 and a hole for lack of a better word where the other processor isn't.
