Uniform? It’s a regular short-sleeved shirt.

Oh, it has epaulettes. In South Africa most of the "official" people here have shirts with them on. Also, it is a good thing to note I am not the only redheaded person on the forums.

I guess you could call them that. They’re sort of useless, but I loved the rest of the shirt, so I bought it anyway.

Unless the pics you’ve posted thus far are deceptive in their colour tones, you wouldn’t count as a redhead ’round these parts. I don’t even count as a proper redhead here, more of an auburn-brownhead.

Since when is fashion expected to be functional?

For the most part, yes. The hair on the sides of my face is much lighter colored and doesn't show up well in pictures. But in this picture I was trying to compromise with the girlfriend and had trimmed the sides.

I am away from my home Mac so I had to post a link to a pic on my blog. Some
friends and I went camping over the long Columbus Day holiday weekend* and
we had Apple Cider donuts for breakfast on Sunday.
(Yes I know the pic is big but that is what the image re-sizer is for.)

*In the US this is a 3-day holiday weekend in early October to celebrate Columbus
"discovering" the Americas.

( Last edited by dcmacdaddy; Nov 12, 2008 at 12:56 PM. Reason: added clarifying info about Columbus Day.)

Ha! Good call. Too bad I don't have a pic of me smoking my pipe. Then you would be all up in the LOTR comparisons.

I have all three of those. Totally an impulse buy, but way too cute to pass up.

Now if only I had an actual use for them...

I wonder what it is about B&W that makes a photo instantly look better...

Which is why almost every picture you'll ever see of me is in B&W or vintage B&W.

Thanks for the fauxhawk props. It's not as dramatic in these pictures as it is most days.

I remember seeing a pic of you on here previously.

And I agree, he’s still no redhead. That’s not a bad thing, by the way; I wish I were more of a regular auburn-brownhead and less of a redhead, but I’m stuck somewhere in between.

And I am assuming that it is a combination of silver/metal and black plastic, right? (Damn B/W photos!)

OH! They're actually black. Well, the side have a faint design on them, but they're black. There is a small silver line that gives that illusion.

The inside of the eyepieces are green too...

Glad you like them though. I don't know if they come in red or not. I'm scared to check on their site; I don't want my wife browsing my history and finding it.

Nice, I am going to check them out.

Is there any sort of model number on them or anything?

That is, btw, why Safari has a "Private Browsing" function.

I see some text that says "TH 3250 blkgrn 51 15-135."

It took me a while to read it (you know, since I had my glasses off and everything).
