Has anyone else done the rebate for the mac/ipod deal this summer?
My rebate processed and I was wondering if the nn'ers could help me with their turnaround times.
If you check your status at http://www.apple.com/promo/rebate/status.html you should get a line that says:
Check #XXXXXX was issued on 08/31/2007 for the amount of US$199.00.
My question is: what is the delay time between your check issuance date and when it actually came in the mail?
Mine was 8/31 obviously, I live in Houston, and I haven't gotten it yet. Not overly concerned but just curious.
Thanks all.

I found that when something important is mailed from a business, other than a bill, it takes three times longer to arrive.

As I posted elsewhere, I got my check within about three weeks of submitting the stuff. Not at all bad!

Quick Update:
I called today and checked on the status of my rebate and turns out the check was returned to them for some reason on 9/14. I am thinking that our apt number got cut off.
I had the rep, who was very nice, put our apt on the second line and she said the check should be here in about 14 days.
Note however it did not reflect online that the check had been returned.
