Since most of us are more or less tech fascinated folks and at least some have collected stuff over the years i thought it would be a good idea to share some pics of them with all of us.

I start with two items. The first one is a densimeter probably from the mid 19th century. The swimmer and weights are made of brass, the scale plate of the thermometer is formed out of ivory and the lining was done using silk and velvet:




This shows the top cover with the manufacturers emblem:




This is a planimeter which was used to measure faces in maps or graphs. It´s from the early fifties in the last century:

Of that particular card? Way too many...probably 100,000+ or more. The tough part is getting "excellent" ones. I would say less than 2,000 of those 100,000 made are "excellent" condition cards.

I have them boxed up but have a pretty good comic collection. I had an awesome one as a kid, including the first 30 of the original Star Wars comics by Marvel. My dad sold them when I was in uni for a few hundred bucks.
