Hey...
Since my university has a WLAN on the campus, I's thinking about gettig a Airport/WLAN card for my PowerBook 1400. Yet I have two questions:
1) Is that even possible with my PB1400 (2x Type II PC Card or 1x Type III PC Card, no Cardbus AFAIK)
2) In case it is, what should I get and how expensive would it be?
PC1400C, 166 MHz, 32MB RAM, 6GB HDD, OS 8.6

Sorry but the PB 1400 isn't compatible with Airport.

I read it but I'm not sure I buy it. The add says that the card requires a Windows machine with a 32 bit Cardbus slot. The PB 1400 doesn't have one and can't be modified for it like the 2400 can. I'm guessing those folks don't know anything about Macs except that some website says they'll run OS 9, so golly, they must accept our card because it works with OS 9. Could be wrong and I frequently am as my wife will tell you but ...
