Its always worse in another country. The same sort of shite came from the British press when Madeline McCann disappeared in Portugal. Where I live a 5 year old was abducted and raped the other day - its not even that big a city. I bet that in Shanghai or Bombay there are areas that people shouldn't be in after dark. Anyone walked around Tooting Bec in London after the pubs close? I have and I wouldn't encourage anyone to do it.
