I guys, i am going to be a switcher as of tomorrow i hope(used ibook should be here tomorrow)
I am a netwok/systems admin for my company, 99% of what we have is microsoft so i am trying to find everyhting i can to be able to use this at work
I can use rdp for alot of my stuff, but one thing i used on my box daily is Microsoft enterprise manager and query analiser,
Does any one know of any mac programs that will let me connect like this to my ms sql servers?
any other programs that maybe needed in a ms enviroment?

At my last company we moved from MS SQL to MySQL with relative ease. There are lots of MySQL tools for Mac.

No offence but i would not touch mysql, we have it on a couple of our systems and have nothin but problems with it.
It would be almost imposible to move away from mssql with as much as we have in it.
But then I think mssql is one of microsofts best products
I would just like a way to access these servers directly rather then having to rdp into a different box,
I even know of some .net webbaised ways of doing it, But nothing on mac

If you are going to move to something new, move to PostgreSQL.

moving from mssql to mysql is a terrible idea. if there's one ms product that's really good it's SQL server. totally crushes mysql. I've been working with both for years.
i think SQL 4x manager is what you want.
