hi there,
my osx is really messed up. some root stuff is controling my hd and i cannot change or do basically anything. i tried re installing osx 10.1 from disc (i have 10.1.2 installed) but said languages installed, and didnt work. (software update installed new languages for 10.1.2). I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! i need to uninstall languages or 10.1.2 so i can reinstall 10.1 and then update again to 10.1.2 does anyone know what to do? please, i need this fast.

huh? How did you determine that 'some root stuff' is controlling your HD.

Please do not post duplicate threads across forums to attempt at more responses. You can't get more than OS X Gen will give you. If you need more responses then you have to carefully word your post and give detailed information about what is exactly going on.

Also, do not post support-related threads in the Software forum. Keep the support-related stuff in OS X Gen.
