You're such an awful person. How could you? Tell me what other shows suck so I can make sure not to like them either OK? Thanx.

Right on. By the end of season 1 it becomes like crack.

Be sure to watch them in order though as it is one big story arc.

And written by the person who wrote the single worst epsiode of the entire series. No thanks.

Ok, I'll bite. They'll find clues that a remnant of Earth's population was able to leave the planet and left behind a beacon (this is what Starbuck's Viper picked up on) relaying information about where they're headed, a planet the Earth scientists found that was believed to be inhabitable.

The humans from Earth left several generations ago, but have (much) slower ships, so the colonial ships and the people of Earth arrive at the new planet on the same day at the exact same time. Yes, the planet is fine, but it's ruled by sentient machines and their leader is the last 12th cylon. After a bit of conflict it's decided that the humans can live there, but the 12th cylon has his own agenda, something to do with the human/cylon hybrid children.

Oh well, it's pretty flimsy, but I just finished 4x10 tonight and haven't had much time to sit and hash it all out.

I read a while ago that Zak Adama would show up at the end of the season in a series of flashbacks. It wouldn't even make sense for it to be Adama's kid. You can go through life not knowing your best friend and second in command is a cylon. You can go through life not knowing your deck chief is a cylon. But how do you explain a child you raised from birth being a cylon? The old hospital baby-switch trick? Might work with the antichrist, but not with cylons. That would be pretty weak.

I think they are going to give us a pretty damn good reason. They even hinted this season when starbuck came back that "What if it was zak that stepped out of that viper. Would it matter that he was a cylon for the start, would they love him any less?"

I still think it is him for some reason as it has to be really shocking.

If you go through IMDB you can also see that Dee is only up to episode 415 so I assume she dies then.

I think it would make sense if Zak came back and was still played by Rick Springfield and Adama realized that Zarek was actually his human son "Apollo" and the guy everyone knows as 'Lee' is the robotic-acting 5th cylon who replaced him at birth.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Ummm.....

I read it.

It kinda makes sense if you think about the progression of the show, but leaves holes open for the next 10 shows.

You don't need to read it.

I'm pretty ambivalent that I did.

Whatever end the 'writers' will choose for this show, it will be an anticlimax because they've 'written' themselves into a corner a long time ago.

This is Twin Peaks all over again.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I started to read it — really major spoilers, but the little bit that I read was stuff that I (and probably most other fans) had already guessed even though they haven't revealed it. I didn't want to go on, though, because it's pretty explicit.

EDIT: That is, "explicit" as in it's a detailed description of how things turn out. Not like there are naked folks or anything.

By the way I saw Olmos and the chief at the comic convention here in Toronto about a month ago. Me and my friend were in the front row centre seat cuz we got mistaken for press and scored big time with some wicked picts.

Olmos is very different in person than his character, he smiles the whole time, very relaxed and polite. Not a hint of an Ego, super nice man. The chief is cool but very hyper and sarcastic.

Anywho he MIGHT have let a bit of a spoiler slip from what I heard. He was saying how the cliffhanger was so impactful to the characters because "they arrive at earth and find it is nuked so bad THEY CAN'T EVEN STAY". The "can't stay" part was interesting as I thought they might make due for a while but by the sounds of it they leave right away and god knows where they plan on heading.

The worst actor on the show.. it's redundant. They're all equally awful - except from Olmos. He's pretty good... no thanks to the script, the show, the directors, producers, co-actors --- in fact he's the anomaly which proves the rule.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

EJO is uniformly recognized as being a Nice Guy, very professional, and outright fun to be around. And this isn't "since he's matured and smoothed out," either. Check out the special features in the Bladerunner ultimate release-a LOT of cool stuff came from Eddie on that one.

IIRC, someone in the last scene was holding a geiger counter that was clicking pretty rapidly, so I just sort of assumed they weren't going to be hanging around anyway.
