An israeli unit conducted a raid in the westbank. A palestinian militant tried to escape and was shot down by the israeli unit. Then the israeli unit forced bystanding civilians to carry the injured militant, obviously out of fear of hidden explosives, and to bring it over to the israeli unit. The civilians did that and went away, and when they looked back they saw that the israeli unit fired rounds at the injured and unarmed palestinian militant.

It's clear to me, that that incident will be apologised by the pro-Israel-fans by saying that Israel at least is conducting investigations and punishing israeli soldiers that acted criminally, while the palestinians usually don't do the same.

You already know my opinion, so I won't bore you, here is the BBC-report:

Somehow off-topic, Hamas has successfully executed a guerillia-attack on israeli soldiers in Gaza, by sending a pretending collaboratoeur to the israeli forces, who led them with the wrong information, that it was a weapon-cache, into a chicken coop, that was booby-trapped through a tunnel with a ton of explosives. One soldier died and four others were wounded.

The israeli reaction was the firing of a missile, which killed two Islamic-Jihad-fighters, and a brief incursion into Gaza-City, during which two Hamas-fighters were killed and 10 civilians, four of them school-children, injured.

Interesting, Israel is hampering palestinian elections by preventing free and unharassed movement of presidency-candidates through the occupied areas. Mustafa Barguti, a human rights and democracy activist, who favours peaceful resistance and a cousin of Marwan Barguti, who favours violent resistance, was beaten up at a checkpoint by israeli soldiers. Here is the BBC-report:

I guess that is also a way to influence the elections, by hindering candidates, that Israel doesn't want to become president of the palestinians, to travel through the occupied areas and consequentially prevent any election-campaigns from them, but allow those it favours to do so.
