About a couple years ago, I registered jansar.net for my personal website under Yahoo. Since then I've cancelled my account, yadda yadda yadda, and the bottom line is that now, I want to host jansar.net on my server. However, I don't know how to access my domain, since it is still "taken" although when I check the registration information, my name is still listed there as the domain administrator.

What can I do to get the domain back?

If you're the technical/administrator (can't remember which) contact then you just have to get some registrar to do a transfer for you. Then it be yours for real.

www.registerfly.com is who I use for my domains.

they will try and transfer it for you with no paper but if yahoo is a b!tch about letting it go (like register.com is) then they will email you a pdf you would need to print, sign, and fax or mail to them.

plus it's only $8.99 for transfer!

I had no problem transferring from register.com. I prefer Godaddy.com for my domains.
