Hello,

I have some songs that are in .ra format. Is there anyway I can convert it over to mp3 format?

Thank,

I don't know of an application that will do it, but you can use something like WireTap to record the sound of the file as it plays and then convert the resulting AIFC file to MP3.

Note, however, that the resulting MP3 may very likely sound like ****.

Hmmm... that sucks than... someone out there should make a program that lets you do that on the Mac platform...

Thanks for the help though,

Q's solution does let you do this. It's just that converting from one lossy format (RA) to another (MP3) means you lose a lot of quality. That's just the way compression works.
