What ever this Python does on my Mac OS X 10.3, it's been using 40 to 60% of my cpu power lately, and it's pissing me off!. My CPU usage has been at 100% the whole time before of it.

Nevermind, found it my BitTorrent is the cause of this problem as one of my torrents is trying to find a peer to connect to, which does this...

Python is a scripting language, similar in some aspects to Perl or AppleScript. Apple uses it for a variety of tasks; in Panther, it even handles some aspects of the boot process.
BitTorrent is written in Python. That's why you see the Python process whenever you run it.
