I want to backup the "Network" pref so that when I do a clean install I can just put that pref file back in and get all my setting back for my DSL config.
I have no idea where it is kept.
I checked in the usual places , pref, documents...etc
Can anyone tell me where this file is so I can back it up. TIA

your dsl config can't be complicated if you're connecting over PPPoE--just copy the name servers (DNS), and write down your login name and password. That should do it.

There's no one file, anyway, BSD networking config is stored in a bunch of places.
