The Qatar Airways flight they were travelling on was forced to make an emergency landing in India after she started to repeatedly hit her husband following the discovery.
According to the Hindustan Times, the Iranian woman had managed to unlock her partner's smartphone by pressing it against his hand while he slept.
...
Chennai's New Indian Express reported that the airport's director, G Chandramouli, said the woman was drunk and was held at the airport until she sobered up before the family were allowed back on a plane.
Yeah, drunk. Dexterous and resourceful, then suddenly drunk to hit him. This is totally about the woman's poor judgement and bad airplane etiquette.

Sounds like a perfect use case for Face ID vs Touch ID! Wait ... too soon?

I don’t discover the dongs, they discover me.
The turd Animoji is a bit of a disappointment. Not expressive like the chicken or monkey.

Does Deadspin have a file of unintentional dongs?

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

the first one, the woman was not killed by her husband, but by a hunter out after sundown. Wear orange, even if you think you're safe. We used to paint our horses orange and even the dog wore a vest.

I heard about this story. It doesn’t add up.
Guy takes a shot at a deer, in the dark, at 200 yards, with a pistol?
Edit: Las Vegas shooter was 360 yards.

Or you could, as a nation, stop shooting at literally anything and everything that moves. Probably while drinking.

I hope they hit him with murder charges, though I don't know if New York has the death penalty. He had* the right to bear arms. He's also responsible for the results.
*he won't have the right any longer. Felons are generally forbidden to own guns. Details depend on state laws.

Not ridiculous, but nice. Glad to see it, and I would be a shopper if in my area. A lot of food goes wasted. I personally don't even look at the dates on the food when shopping or when deciding what to throw out. To do that, I think how long has it been since I last ate it, does it look ok, and MAYBE the smell test. The dates are completely meaningless to me.

Fat guy in shorts and guy with the two-toned jacket are team pedestrian.
The two guys in black and the skinny, pepper spray guy in the t-shirt are team taxi.

Because of all the energy used to mine them, it turns out bitcoin is bad for the environment.
Some days the 'Great Filter' concept makes a lot of sense.

Oils go rancid sometimes even before the best before date. Im curious why food wouldnt sell before this date? Rancid oils are a carcinogen and can cause serious long term health problems. Things like olive oil, nuts, whole wheat etc. spoil in about 6 months give or take a few. But people tend to keep using them not realizing they spoil.
