I have just purchased a new 12 inch G4 Powerbook, 1GHz/256/40/Combo.
How can I tell if I have rev A or rev B? The number on the box is M9007LL/A, model A1010.
I thought all 1 GHz machines were Rev B. Am I wrong?
Thanks.

It's a bit of a quirky naming system since "rev.A" kind of denotes a change from the original, but:
Rev.A = PB 867
Rev.B = 1GH (at this time)
Cheers.

If judging by outward appearance alone, rev b's have a mini DVI port.

The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.
