I doubt you're right.

I had about 12,000 photos on my iPhone 4 before the upgrade (I like to have my whole iPhoto library with me). After the upgrade, when I tried to sync, I got a message during the syncing of photos saying that it couldn't complete the sync because a file was not found. After experimenting for a while without success, I decided to restore from a backup. This sort of worked, but now I am told that it can't fit all of my photos on the phone. This is odd, because they fit with about 1GB free to spare before the update. I've even tried deleting 2-3GB of apps and music to try and free up space, and they still won't fit. I'm wondering if maybe the amount of space used by photos has changed after the update. Any ideas about this?

I've seen reports of people finding a corrupt picture that breaks the whole sync. They simply had to use a process of elimination to find the culprit, which really sucks. Maybe try syncing your photos one album/event at a time?

^^^ It was only a matter of time until AT&T would force your hand.
I'm actually surprised how lenient they are.
Since tethering w/o the extra plan violates the TOS, they could easily slpa you with overage charges.

Pure speculation. Technically, unless all your traffic is encrypted, AT&T can now what you're doing.

It might be speculation, but nonetheless people are getting the email even without tethering, so there's definitely something else going on.

Watch as the VPN service industry expands to 6000% of its previous size, and their prices asymptotically approach $20 per month, or charged by the MB.

There's always Verizon Mifi to fall back on.
Their price rate is better than AT&T.

If AT&T is harassing customers who are not at fault (no proof of tethering), can customers get out of their contract?

Anyone finding 4.3.3 a little pokey?
The Safari UI especially seems like it's dragging.

I thought it was too many apps in the background, but I think you're right.

Overall, I'd say this rev of the OS is garbage. The whole thing is laggy, and apps crash all the time.

I haven't noticed any problems. Engadget was crashing for a while, but they finally updated it. You could delete and reinstall troublesome apps, but if it's everything, that's odd.
