Hello all! I didn't know where to post this, so I figured the Lounge would be the best place.
I have two two-year old 2.4 GHz cordless phones in my house. When I pick one up, and I'm near either the base or handset, my Airport connection dies on my 600/CD iBook.
Here's the question: Do newer 2.4 GHz phones eliminate this problem? Or is it unavoidable?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure for all of them, but we just picked up a new 2.4GHz phone about 3 days ago and I have noticed no decline or interference in Airport reception.

I have no documented information right now, but I seem to remember hearing a discussion on the radio that there are six channels used by 2.4 GHz phones which are selectable. If the correct channels are chosen, there is no interference. Again, this is just what I thought I heard. If I can find documentation, I'll post it.

Just change the "channel" that your phone is usinge. Once I did that, everything worked just fine.

Right set the phone to channel 1 and the iBook to channel 12. That should do it.
