on MacNN's forum pages my (IE5) browser used to tick the little yellow pages at the left of each topic to tell me what i hadn't read before.

i have cookies set to 'never accept' because i've no need for any of them except MacNN's. is there a way to just enable MacNN cookies without being asked about all the others?

am i on the right path?

i'm guessing this is simple but can't seem to find the way.

thanks for any help.

You cannot do that with IE 5. I would suggest iCab (www.icab.de). It has a very good prefs manager and it will let you accept and deny cookies from any site. It is certainly worth a look.
