You have a Time Machine backup, right? So pull the iLife apps out of the backup.

If you can't do that for whatever reason, you could try running the installer for the iLife apps on the OS X install disc that came with your Mac, or force it with Pacifist if the installer won't let you for some reason.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

OOps

My bad. The machine was wiped clean and then OSX original was reinstalled as a fresh install.

Then I went straight to installing Snow Leopard without doing all the updates on OSX then iLife vanished!

Sorry for the confusion and hope this leads to an answer

Thanks

iLife is not part of the OS. One of the original discs that came with the computer should have additional software, including iLife.

It's obvious: you have to reinstall iLife from the discs that came with your machine. Instead of updating (which would have left all installed software intact), you decided to wipe the harddrive and then freshly install OS X. Normal OS X discs do not include iLife and hence it wasn't installed. In almost all cases a clean install is unnecessary, though.

In short, you killed iLife

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
