Last night I was using my iBook and tried to run the auto software update. After spinning a few minutes it said that it wasn't able to connect to the net (even though my connection was fine). I then tried to run the update on my wife's iBook and my G4. I got the same message each time. So...this morning I tried it with my G4 at work - same error message.
What gives?

Same here
I guess their server is down for maintenance. Hopefully when it's back online, they'll give us iPod 1.2 firmware update...

It's down for me too. It looks like Apple took it offline for some reason. Here's hoping for the iPod 1.2 Software too!
