Can someone tell me where Adam Betts is? He's been away from the forum and iChat and his own website for a bit too long.

At least the boy could post a little something on his website. He is causing a considerable amount of anxiety!

Yes, all over the net people are asking this question! WHERE IS ADAM!

Oh wait..

Unless he is on suicide watch, I don't see where the anxiety is coming from.

Well, perhaps in the Mac design community anyway... he was on fire on his page, then it went cold...

Oh well...

And Adam probably has a big project he's working on, taking up his time. His web design business does seem to be doing well...

A lot of MacNNer's (including me) got into the closed beta through our little mutual friend on the game forum.

Luckily I managed to stay away from it and not get addicted. If I was addicted, I'd be totally screwed now, doing essays for about 16 college applications

I'm not sure... I think they generally add new people in each new phase, and they just had a new phase I think. It's done in waves. So it probably won't be for another few weeks until more people are added.

Hey, I'm still around and read MacNN Forum regularly!

I'll be back on the internet soon though. I'm not burned out or anything but I found a "cooler toy" to play with Once I'm bored with the new toy, I'll return to my old n' trusty toys.

If you've tried WoW, you'll understand my position completely. Similar to crack drug but cleaner and better Most of the members in our guild are from MacNN Forum so it's great to play with someone you know.

I never wondered.
Adam is the perfect example of why I can't go near Diablo, WC3, or WoW. I have an ass load of work, and I still have to fool with PS, so I can't afford to even pick the game up.

[But how I wish I could stay at home and do that for a couple years]

Well, is it kick ass like I thought it'd be? Or is it WC+Everquest and sorta boring (like Everquest)?

World of Warcraft is different from shoot em up games. It's a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). The concept of game is very similar to Zelda, Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, etc. If you like Zelda then most likely you'll like WoW. They will be offering an Open Beta soon for everyone to try and perhaps you could give it a try.

Needless to say but there's lot of Zelda easter eggs in WoW. Really hilarious though

They have been unbattened. It appears Miami escapes once again with nothing more than a few squalls. We were lucky this time.
