when i got my powerbook back from apple care, the time was behind an hour. I checked the time zone and it was on central time rather then eastern like i sent it in with. heh heh, oh well, no biggy. kinda funny though

I was under the impression that when Apple serviced computers they booted off an external. At least that's what I was told when I dropped my computers off. Strange that they would have goofed with your time settings.

Well you never know what they are trying to do with your Mac when its gone. When my iBook needed the keybard repaired the repair man phoned up and asked for my username/password "to check some things".
I Told him he can check the keyboard works by typing in the login box

I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.
