I must have missed the answer in the exhaustive results list for "firefox tab index".

Anyone have the quick fix for tabbing from web text forms to input buttons rather than sending me back to the address bar?

I think you will need an extension called "Configuration Mania" to set that up. There is a section called UI with a setting for the tab key called "Tab Focus Navigation". You can get the extension at:

Thanks curiosity. That did the trick. Not exactly in the correct order for popular forms but better than nothing at all.
