Does James crack his voice during concert? I stopped listening to Metallica after Load. St. Anger, Death Magnetic, etc. all had him cracking his voice in the most annoying fashion.

Still looks like fun, though.

Saw them here a couple months back, and really loved the show. The simple stage setup was nice, and Hetfield + Trujillo really played tight (Lars and Kirk seem to be more or less winging it... ) I think James is better than ever having sobered up.

The sound at the venue was also impressive, here are some videos of the FOH and monitor engineer talking Meyer: Metallica Interviews

Very nice. I'm jealous, as Metallica is one of the few of my favorite bands I haven't seen yet.
