I remember when he posted "I am awesome" for the very first time.
That's when I said that someone who says that about himself is NOT very awesome.
He subsequently removed his post.
Anyway, anyone who can't get around working at the Apple Store AND posting on a Mac forum is not a very bright bulb. Guess we know who WON'T be working the Genius Bar!

I dunno. I watched a weird video tape a few days ago.
I was wondering the same thing.

I didn't really try to hide it. I guess I could have gone all out 1337 |-|4XoR with a http proxy and new typing style, but I'm lazy.
What I ultimately decided was, if Apple fires me for solely posting on a Mac message board, and I didn't post anything related to Apple (which I don't 99% of the time), then I shouldn't be working for them in the first place.

Seriously, saying "f it" isn't a very smart idea. You can be safe, even using your other new name just never admitting outright that it's you, and then you'll be OK. Having a new name with everyone knowing it's you means nothing compared to using the old name which still has posts talking about the new job at Apple.

You do realize that by calling me an attention whore, you have thus made yourself an attention whore.
Congratulations, and welcome to the club.

jamil, with the blasé attitude you've adopted, I—to an extent—hope you do get canned. I'm with Xeo, but I think you should give the name game one more try without tying yourself to previous names (with the same homepage and general information in your 'NN profile); change your jamil and Awesome profiles and start posting with an unrelated account.
It wouldn't be very hard for any Apple person browsing the forums to see your location and figure out who you are.

Eh, if everyone just dropped it, this would cease to be an issue. Including myself I reckon
