Any Neil fans? "Greendale" starts showing on the Sundance Channel tonight. Yay.
Behind the pseudonym Bernard Shakey, rocker Neil Young presents a proudly homemade Super-8 novel tying together ten narrative songs about fighting the sorry state of the modern world. In rural Northern California, the self-sufficient Green family discovers it's impossible to escape corporate greed, government power and the fear-mongering media. Young's heartfelt eco-libertarian call to arms is a truly independent creation. A "lovable little mixture of great rock 'n' roll and charmingly primitive filmmaking" — Chicago Tribune

Hmm,. Neil already has a new album out. First single is on the iTMS.
That said, Greendale is a bit depressing but good nevertheless.

Probably "The Painter"...? You can hear the whole song on his website.

I can't wait to see/hear it. Then again, Neil could fart into his hat and I'd show up.
