It depends what you are doing - iMovie will capture video from a webcam.

Oh, I'm sorry - I thought you meant you wanted to video yourself doing something dumb, then upload it to UTube.

In Safari:

Windows --> Activity --> search for the YouTube page you're looking at --> search for the only file whose size is in the MB range. Double click that to download. If you have Perian installed, you can watch it in QuickTime if you add an .flv extension to its name, or you can use iSquint (free) to convert it to QuickTime .mp4 format.

You can also try PodTube. It extracts the video and converts them to a iTunes(iPop, AppleTV) compatible video.
