With all the WoW popularity on the forum, I thought I'd take a moment and see if anyone is playing FFXI on their Intel Mac. I've got it on my PS2, and love it! I might be getting a MacBook Pro soon though, and was wondering if anyone's had the experience running FFXI on their machine via BootCamp. Does it run well? etc...

I have a friend who said that he has set it up, and it runs beautifully. Better than on PS2 and his (slower) PC, for that matter. I'll be toying with this as soon as I get my hands on an Intel Mac (I only have a regular G5) and I'll report the details.

It will be nice to dual box since I have two accounts to play around with.

I wonder how well it will run on a 23" Cinema display, since it will require good processing power.
