I just recently bought an 17 inch iMac for my parents. They are both in their 50's and they both have hard time reading without glasses. The main thing I need to know is how to make the font on Mail default to big instead of having to push Command+ all of the time. I figured it out for Safari but that is about it.

Oh, and btw, this doesn't belong here. It doesn't have anything to do with the iMac specifically.

Have you tried running the iMac in a lower screen resolution? My Dad is 75 years old and runs his 20" Intel iMac in 1280 x 800...it looks remarkably good. Worth a try...they might find it acceptable.
