Trying to set up Windows File Sharing on my G5 iMac, to get my ThinkPad to see it and be able to share a networked printer. Whenever I go to the Sharing tab in System Preferences, it asks for a password in order to turn on Windows File Sharing. I assume this is the password I use to log into the current username. Still, whenever I enter that password, it's rejected.
I have a secondary user account for my wife. When I click her name and enter her login password, it works. So what's the deal with mine?
