They were recommended as a deterrent, more than as actual attack dogs, and they can tackle like an NFL linebacker. (Maybe the Vikings could use a few of them?)

The neighbors have a labradoodle that will get back from a 15 mile run with its owner and want to go outside and run around.

Our 10-year-old pictured there just had a freakin part of her lung removed (lung cancer) three weeks ago and is basically back in tip-top shape.

We were told by many that was a little OTT for a dog, but I think if lung surgery amounts to a three week blip for you, you're way too spry to call it quits.
