So I left my Macbook Air by itself for about 4 hours.

When i came back I had warnings that I was out of free space on my disk (less than 10 megs left).

I only have 70gb of stuff on my 128gb SSD, as of this morning.

I fired up Activity Monitor and it showed constant writes of 50mb/s and MDworker using 80-100% of processors. Restarting the system calmed MDworker down, but my SSD is still full. Says I have 5 gigs left...but I had 30 this morning.

Anyone know of where to look for where all my space went? Ideas? Programs that will tell me? I'm sure its a log file somewhere but I can't find it.

Thanks!

Have you looked at Console for pertinent errors?

Restart in Safe mode, hold Shift during boot, see what happens.
