vshield task sucking OS cpu dramatically

OK I installed vshield from .Mac - AND IT"S SUCKING ! MY CPU ! LIKE 80% of it.
I deleted the install, but the Vshield keeps showing up as a task and still uses my CPU.
IS this an OS thing? How do I get rid of this crappy Vshield task permanently.
Please and Thanks for any help.

Deleting the installer won't delete the things it's installed.
re-download it and run it again, only this time, use the "Uninstall" option.
Also: are you running Tiger? Virex is not Tiger-compatible.

There was no uninstall option. That I am aware of.

To locate the vshield binary, you can, from the terminal type "which vshield" which should tell you where it is running from. If you delete this file, it can no longer run..
Be careful.. stuff like this can hose your system if you dont know what you are doing.. but the "which" command will tell you the location of any process you can run.

Edit- that may not locat the task.. didnt realize which will only locate commands you can run from the command line.. :/
Though "locate vshield" may help.

There was an un-installer after all - thanks analogika
And I didn't get a chance to try the terminal method, but thanks for responding MarkLT1
