I'm with whoever said the sparkling effect was low quality. It looked as if the movie was getting pixelated and he just happened to be undressing. BTW, why did he opened his shirt? I mean, if he wanted to show that he sparkles under Sun light, the face and hands would have been enough, right? Yes.

What flashback scenes?

I mentioned the sparkling effect hahaha it was awkward that close up to his chest ;P

the flashback scenes are the ones where the wolves meet the vampires for the first time, when carlisle bites edward yadda yadda yadda, they were all sepia tone and weird :S

Unfortunately, you just came back right when there's a bunch of 13 year old girls invading the lounge. They'll lose interest soon.

Yeah, and we unfortunately just came when there's a bunch of 10 year old boys talking about how to shave their private parts.
But they will eventually stop talking about it soon cause they will realize they have nothing to shave (:

What's even funnier is that it was originally a racial epithet used against Hungarians.

Now it's a misspelling of "hon", used by ditzy blondes who spend more money annually on lip gloss than anything of actual substance, including vegetables.

Ending a post with ":S lol" is a pretty good indicator. Then there's the whole lack of proper grammar...

People, could we please focus on the topic? If you liked it or not, just state your opinion in a polite way. There's really no reason why you have to offend whoever liked Twilight.

Oh, and the one who doesn't understand what "homophobic" means.

Not that most people use that word correctly...it's always bothered me that people have talked about disapproval of homosexuality as some kind of irrational fear (e.g. a phobia).

Anyhow, yes. It's generally pretty easy to figure out someone's age (or at least their level of emotional maturity) based on how they communicate on the Internet. So far, you're not doing yourself any favors on that front.

I'm a girl, I'm certainly not 13 (but not older than 17) and I have read the series (I haven't finished Breaking Dawn because I'm having a hard time adjusting to its content), yet... I disliked the movie.
There is no point in making fun of girls that like and defend Twilight because as you've probably noticed, not only girls like Twilight and not ALL girls like Twilight, both the movie and the series.
You should stop judging people you don't know and instead of making fun of their comments, you should try to understand what they are trying to communicate.
Then again, this is just a mere suggestion. If we're going to try to act and/or be civilized by using proper English spelling, punctuation and capitalization, we might as well try to be proper ourselves when defending our respective positions by omitting any sort of mocking behavior.

I haven't really been paying attention to your posts, so I can't answer that.

Sorry. Disappointing, I'm sure.

There's nothing wrong with liking or disliking Twilight...the series or the movie. It's that some random girls came into a well-established community and started posting like it was going out of style. That doesn't typically happen - off-topic areas of forums are usually where established members go to talk about stuff; they're not the first point of contact for new members.

As others have previously said, nearly every person on 'NN started out by posting about some Mac-related problem or question; it wasn't until they'd been around for a little while that they started posting in the Lounge.

Thanks, now I know im not mature and that I'm not 19. I really thought I was born in 1989. This community is very helping (:
And, thanks for explaining what homophobic means! Although I do know what it means
Oh, and if you would've kept reading the posts, you would have seen that there was a post in which I totally agreed that I didn't make myself clear, so I don't see the point of this argument.

And we are sooo off topic now!
Is it me, or was the ending of Twilight weird? I know they had to make clear that it was going to continue, but...I don't know, they should have done it differently.
And I was so expecting Decode to be played somewhere in the movie

They never mentioned twilight in the end; they missed the escence of the book just by that. I think they were in a rush when they decided to do the movie. It could of been a little more well prepared.

They also forgot the little details of the book. For instance, Bella has a new (at the time) BlackBook, where in the book she has a very old PC. Also, she has a cellphone in the movie.

I can picture a Quentin Tarantino version of Twilight being really cool. They should get him if they do another one of these.

Getting Patrick Swayze involved would be another definite plus.

Well there is "From Dusk Til Dawn", which Tarantino wrote and produced. It's a vampire movie that is about 1000x better than Twilight.

Plus it has Salma Hayek dancing in skimpy clothes.

Aha, see? The universe provides.

Has anyone seen the "Night Watch" movies? I heard hype about it and put them on my Netlfix queue, but they were completely flat. Not interesting at all. Not even "Resident Evil" level.

Good idea.
Twilight just lacked the quality of modern epic movies, considering that it was a commercial movie anyway... a commercial movie based on a book that was compared to HP. There was seemingly no art in its making.

Incidentally, I saw Resident Evil: Extinction last weekend on my new HDTV (my BFF has the trilogy in Blu-Ray). Then I watched the first one on New Year's Eve. The zombie makeup sucked compared to the third one...it wasn't nearly grotesque enough.

Although I suppose the zombies hadn't been reanimated very long at that point.

When I saw that all I thought was: huh, that's a pretty old computer, isn't it?
I guess that they were trying to make the movie more updated when it comes to technology.
