This video made my year...

The Muppets sing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody

I grew up with the Muppets, but I think I enjoy them more as an adult than I did as a kid. To this day I can still quote a huge chunk of all the movies.

This gets three .

I've had three different Facebook friends post this link to FB in the past three days. Good Times!

I'm in agreement with you. As an adult, the Muppets are even more enjoyable for me now than they ever were when I was a kid.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Load up Safari. Go to your favorite YouTube video. Go to the Window menu, select "Activity," then look for the .flv file that's loading. If it's a big file like the one above, it's easy to spot because it'll be x amount of 24MBs or whatever loaded, slowly loading. Option-double-click to download the file.

You've now downloaded a YouTube video. If you install Perian you can then export the .flv as MPG4 or whatever format you like.

P.S. That was absolutely awesome.

There's a FF plug-in, that I can't remember the name of (I'm at work), that lets you do nearly everything with Youtube vids.

That wasn't too hard to do, though it took me a bit to figure out the little triangle button... I'm snagging the HD version right now.

My family is in love with this video.

Another easy way to get YouTube videos is to go to SaveVid, enter in the URL of the video, and specify whether you want to download it as an flv or mpg (this was available last I checked - the web-site seems to be down for me).

If you use ClickToFlash's beta version and load the Quicktime version of the YouTube video, there is a link under the video to download the .mp4 of it.

and you can just use the cache feature in FF too.

open new blank window and type one of the following:

about:cache?device=disk

about:cache?device=memory

simply look for the file you want from disk or cache, right click and save. do a Find once on the cache page you want and even easier. look for file type, part of url, whatever. awesome for getting all the embeded stuff sites don't want you to have chances are the quicktime/flash/other media files will be on disk.

happy hunting!

and oh; this is by far the best "Muppets" video:

YouTube - kermit sings hurt

could be considered NSFW, if work doesn't allow muppet mature conent.

more of sad kermit here: http://www.sadkermit.com/

Brilliant! I downloaded the full hi-def video; I'll have to show this to a few of my friends later.
