Hi,
I have finally decided to buy a TiBook. I want to get a nice, low frills case to protect it. Any suggestions?
Also, what would you suggest for an external keyboard and mouse?

I got an ATM slip bag kinda thing. It just a protective slip bag that you can then put into any other bag which to me is sweet, cause I like the bags I already have and didn't want to advertise I have a laptop while waiting on the train station. Also it was really cheap $50 AUS with the next option of a Bag being $140 AUS.
Get on of them if you have bags for different purposes, cause you can just chuck it in that bag and know it will be protected.
Hope that helps

I bought a MacCase from MacMall for around $65. It doesn't have a lot of storage, but I don't need much. Most of my stuff is on the hard drive. I do pack a mouse, mouse pad, power adapter, and some CDs. I love my 1Ghz TiBook.

Thanks for the input! For now I am going to use a "Hi, I have a laptop in this bag, and the bag outweighs the laptop!" bag. I will be looking for a good deal along the lines of the models you suggested.

I use a double opening sleeve from Chrome ( http://www.chromebags.com) Which I love, and they're only $20. I also have one of their Metropolis bags which I love, (2K cu inches). I'm so happy with it, I'm coinsidering getting a Kremlin (3K cu in) for longer trips.

to me the obvious choice was the waterfield designs slip case. it looks nice, fits the powerbook perfectly and is well padded. i use this in conjunction with my banana republic messenger bag. it's perfect. www.sfbags.com
