I had the day off. I went to court this morning, then went out to lunch with the wife, got home, installed Panther and now I am surfing and drinking Pepsi One. A pretty good day, I'd say.

I've been at work since 6 am and I was supposed to go boozin' with a buddy about 2 hours ago (11:20 pm now) but he didn't show up. So there is nothing left for me to do but continue work. Thank god for that bottle of Ricard and King Diamond screaming through the speakers.

I hate fridays.

Hear, hear!

My Friday story: Went to school, came home, opened up box with new [bowling-looking] shoes, and I am happy. Don't know about later. Maybe hang with the friends so they can knock my new shoes.

I don't work from home, I'm having a sh1tty day, I've got errands coming out my ass so even in the unlikely event I leave work at a resonable hour I will not be home until quite late, my freaking (new) bank put a 5 day hold on a payroll check... A PAYROLL CHECK FOR CRAP SAKE, and I therefore bounced a check.

I hate today with a passion that burns deeply and brightly.

Have a part time job at the local B&Q warehouse, and came back at 9pm after a four hour shift; only two of us in my department (should be four/five) and we were run ragged from start to finish, and spent half our time sorting out stuff we shouldn't be getting involved in. Can't complain, no different to anywhere else I'm sure - at least it's only a part-time thing! Eight hours of it to look forward to tomorrow...

Wife had opened some wine, but it's some sickly sweet Hungarian stuff (not my thing) so I had a bottle of Bud with my microwave meal. She's gone to bed with the cat, so here I am now at the 'puter.

It's 4:50 p.m. I've been working like a dog since 6:30 a.m., but I'm about to cut out of here and go home to play with Panther. So it's all good.

Ended up being a nice day. A friend's OS X system got hosed, no startup disk recognizable. Booted up using the OS X CD, the HD refused to mount, even after running Repair & Verify (what ever the hell that does is beyond me).

Dug up my trusty old Norton CD, booted to 9, repaired & mounted the drive. Then noticed that somehow the OS X system folder got renamed to "System (OS 9)" ... renamed to "System", rebooted back to X with no problem. Thank God for being able to boot to 9.

Back home now, having a tasty bud and life is good.

It was a bland day. Customer needs caused me to miss lunch.

Will be watching 8 Mile tonite, again, because the wife hasn't seen it. Will probably do some writing after the movie.

Boring day at work. Supervisors gone and little to do. Panther was delivered at 1pm to my house. Might not be able to install tonite cause I am heading to San Francisco for dinner and karaoke with friends. Should be a good time. Tomorrow will be all about the Panther. Word.

I worked from home this morning to wait for FedEx to bring me Panther. Then I went to work for four hours and came back home. Then I installed Panther.

I was in the dork line at FedEx. Two guys picking up the eMachines and myself and this buy picking up Panther.

Went and purchased some human clothing so I don't look like a troll.

I had a great time thanks! First date with an incredibly fit girl - went out for a meal, then cocktails, then back to her place for 'coffee'

Well worth missing the 'night of the Panther' for, I'd say!

Wtf are you doing here then? Shouldn't you be at her place, having 'breakfast'?
Youth of today. Don't know they're born.

My wife had the day off. So we arrived at the Chestnut Hill Mall Apple Store about 5:10pm. My wife had some issues with her iBook so the Mac Genuis assisted her. I got to look at the Panther while I was waiting. We got in line at 7pm and the first. My wife went and purchased a cinnamon raisin bagel and coffee to have while waiting. It was a nice time for visiting.

Had a tiring, crappy day at work, and then went and saw the greatest band in the universe: http://www.whitecowbell.com/ Kilted schoolgirl dancers, wet t-shirt contest, a fire eater, and a guy demolishing pumpkins with a chainsaw.
