I have been using Adium for a long time. I only use AIM, and recently learned that by installing Chax, I can make iChat be very similar to the features I use from Adium. The one thing I wouldn't want to lose is my server-side aliases and meta-contacts.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have iChat use the server-side aliases, or does it only use an alias over a screen name when that name exists in the Address Book? Thanks for your help.
