My wife's iPhone (which she is constantly misplacing) has some weirdness with find my iPhone. 9 times out of 10 when she can't find it, it's in the house or car somewhere, but to find it, I go to find my iPhone on me.com. When it is in the house, the location always comes up as our old house, about 5 miles away. I assume it's getting it's location info from our WiFi router, but what is making it think our router is at our old address? The router is supplied by BT and we got a new number, new account and new router when we moved.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. The phone would never be at the old place, so when it comes us there, I know it's at home, but it bugs me.

Thoughts on how to fix this?

What happens if you turn off wifi on the phone and leave the 3G connection on?

You need to go to SkyHook and register your base station.

Hadn't thought of that. Will try, thanks.
