3 times in the last 18 months I've had packages lost by the USPS, all 3 times the last place they were scanned/seen was Elk Grove Village, IL.. Is there a black hole or dimensional rift in that area? It doesn't appear to be an especially high crime part of Chicago, but is there some type of garment smuggling ring there that most people aren't aware of? If someone knows what's going on, or knows who made off with my package, I'd appreciate it if they'd let me know. I won't press charges, all I want are my wool toe socks (and perhaps the flannel boxers that went missing in October, as long as they're still unworn).

I consider it a minor miracle that all the things I ordered for christmas arrived safely via post.
anyone who stole your packages is probably disappointed in the contents.

I've been to Elk Grove Village and can tell you with certainty they have neither elk, or groves.

The USPS lost a few of my packages too, at least 4 times in the past 3 years. Don't know what happened to the items.
Perhaps they're with those missing socks from the laundry.

You should contact the Post Master, they take that stuff very seriously, especially with repeat missing items.

I was hoping subego knew what was going on, since it's near his `hood I thought he might know who did it. Tell the local Cosa Nostra I'm offering a $5 reward ($10 for both the socks and the boxers, unworn).

I filed a report online but I've not heard back from them.

I think it's all a conspiracy, using a seemingly serene, pastoral name to lure people there with the intention of stealing their undergarments and hosiery. Despicable.

If it's the one on Landmeier Road, give them a call: (847) 439-5573
Expect to be put on hold for a long time while they figure out which is ass and which is elbow.
