Google will usurp MS eventually, with the latter going the way of IBM and HP. IMO, it's too late to turn that ship around.

I though Facebook' valuation makes sense, given the fact that it actually makes billions in profit (in contrast to the dot-com age).

Eh, 1997 wasn't that long ago. Apple has come back from worse. WAY worse. I'd actually like to see them find their way. As in stop letting assholes lead. Or at least assholes with a clue.

Facebook P/E: 188
Amazon P/E: above 1,000 they're making losses now
LinkedIn: P/E 708

It all made sense back in 1999 until it didn't. Same will happen again.

MSFT: Lost $570B over 13 years, or $44B/yr

AAPL: Lost $220B in 1 year, or $220B/yr
