Why do we always have to wait for the next big show?

The new G5s must bee right around the corner, but why does apple wait with releasing them?

Would the world miss the new releases if it wasnt put in a show?

:-)

All the press is there, Steve can put on his show, and the Faithful are tuned in. Plus, from what the rumor sites have said, they are having trouble getting the new G5's based on the 90 nm process ready.

I like the shows. To me, they are all about unity. Unity between the Apple, the user base, and the developers.

If not for the shows, we wouldn't have anything to "guess" about with an exact date to back that guess up.

PowerMacMan, when do you become a Moderator?

I was 'officially' made a moderator this morning, but wasn't actually given any forum jurisdiction until a few minutes ago. As of now, I am a moderator in both the Power Mac forum and the Mac Modification forum.

It's going to take me a few days to get used to this.

OK, not to be an ass or anything, but with all the bickering you and Link do, how the hell did you make mod? Congrats, by the way. You are a MacNN rock star now.

Haha...

Well, let me put it this way: The bickering would have been a problem had I been bickering with a well-liked person. I am not speaking for the other mods there, but lets just say it is a feeling I have.

Thanks man.

I think if we have to wait until wwdc before a new release then I hope it will be good. Maybe there will be a powermac G5 with 4 processors J. I was at wwdc 2000 and it was ok. Every one was talking about Steve Jobs and his reality thing. And I was not affected. So I was a little disappointed. But he is a grate man. I love what he has done with apple. And I have stood before him, but I hate myself for not taking a photo.

Well I hope I can by a new G5 soon. And am looking forward to se Steve on the web.
