I have two computers at home, and they are LAN'd. I also have DSL, and I was wondering how I could share the DSL between the two computers.

I have a router, but I don't know how to set it up. Any advice?

You could read some of the tutorials and backgrounder articles at that PracticallyNetworked.com site. Or, look at the instructions that came with the router. Or visit the manufacturer's website support pages.
Or, if the computers were Macintoshes and the router was a Linksys or similar model, I'd suggest looking at something like this .
Or you could hold a contest to see who here can guess what type of computers, operating systems and router you have.

Beauty. It really isn't too difficult to get the basic stuff like a wired router to work. It's sort of like knowing how to use a microwave oven; kind of mysterious until you figure out which buttons do what, and then it's no big deal.
Do make sure you change the admin password of your router to something other than the default it came with. There are ways to pry into a DSL user's LAN through an unprotected router, so this is a very good step to take. Otherwise, enjoy!
