I'm about to so I can host some web stuff, but I'm just curious to see what the difference is, performance wise. Are any of my regular Mac OS X features degraded if I upgrade to Server, or does OS X Server just add extra features and leave OS X alone?

Everything stays the same except for the addition of server utilities.
heh, I royally hosed my system a week ago by trying to install the server apps from 10.1 server onto 10.2.

Jansar: you only want to host web stuff? Stick with OSX client.
It does just as good a job as OSX Server does at that, really.

A friend of mine, who was running OS X Server (10.1 at the time) on his desktop did tell me that there are a couple of apps that act weird on Server, but he didn't specify what apps.
If you don't need Server, then just use the client.
Cipher is right: OS X Server's Apache is exactly the same.
