I downloaded for the first time last night, Macmame. I followed all of the directions from macmame.org including downloading Robby and placing it withing the Roms directory. When I launch Macmame, Robby shows up...I click Play, the screen flickers where i am met with this:

At this point, i should just be able to type ok and everything should begin to work, right? Well, it just sits there and maxes out my processor (i've let it sit for as long as 5 minutes). The only way to get out, is for some reason, to type command+o. I've trashed the program and started over numerous times, but cannot get any further into Macmame than what I've said. This is running 10.2.6 on a Ti500. I'd really like to play, can someone please help me. thanks

You gotta tame the beast before you let it out of its cage.

There's a bug in OSX that will disable keyboard control if you've had to enter a password in an OSX authentication dialog since startup. If you restart OSX, the problem should go away.

What a bizarre bug!

Thanks for pointing it out.
