Is anyone having trouble launching SC? Anyone getting an error 21 and a failure to launch?

Do you have the option screen pop up everytime you run StarCraft? that would be the cause of the crashes and nothing to do with Java. Just disable the option screen from popping up every launch and hit OK. The game will crash one more time, but you should be able to launch the game just fine afterwards.

I figured it out, I think. . .I deleted a few prefs (some SC related, and others random), I also imaged my CD and used it that way. . .it now works. . .go figure the file that runs into an error is on the CD, but for some reason, the compressed image worked. . .
PS. I know that was extremely vague, but it worked
