I bought an apple video adapter a few months ago. For a while, it worked great.

But one day, my settings went skewiff. I don't know what's happened but my my mac seems to think it's being plugged into a VGA monitor.

Instead of offering me options like PAL 50hz, SECAM, NTSC etc... it's now offering me the likes of 640x480 72hz etc...

I plug the adapter into the TV and I get what looks like a VGA signal; no horizontal/vertical sync, no colour, scrambled image.

How do I fix this and get my iBook to recognise the TV adapter as just that?
