Hockey, the way it was meant to be played: outdoors. Of course, everyone knew the outcome already. The best part of it is that my dad is a big Montreal Canadiens fan.

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, go here.

first of all, WOW perhaps the greatest idea ever.
second, is it just me or is Paulina Gretzky growing up to be quite the looker?
thirdly, I'm definitely picking up a vintage Oilers jersey.

Damnit, posted a thread on the game and then see this thread.

Who is the old guy with the black trenchcoat and white hear? People seemed to cheer a lot when he walked out onto the field during the first game.

Paulina sure is growing up! Do you think she was lip-synching?

The old-timer's game was great. Bill Ranford looked to be playing for a contract! Great to see Gretzky, Lafleur, Messier etc all hit the ice together.

Back to the game ...

Oh well, Edmonton lost the regular season game.

I just point out to my dad that Edmonton outscored Montreal for the day. Good enough for me.

i think that jannet would be a scary mom if you were anything less than perfect...so Paulina probably has the best singing teachers money can buy.

Picures of Paulina? I saw her about 4 years ago and she was ok. I used to see Gretzky a lot, his son was on my little brother's basketball team. You are right about the wife though. She's super anal.

Took long enough.

It was 20 degrees Celcius, perhaps a little more with wind chill. You try playing in that; or better yet, watching...

Actually, what I found funny was that the media was making a big deal of the temperature when it was -15 or so. "Will they play in that extreme cold?"

I laughed because when I was a kid (8 years old or so), the cut off for us being on the ice was -20.

If 8 year olds can withstand -20, surely professional athletes with their bench heaters, heating pads, etc. can play in colder weather.

It's only clips, but still thanks. Much appreciated.

Oh, and for the people who wanted to see Paulina, the video has her performance. On further review, it sounds like she's singing live.
